Commercial Property Management Administrative Assistant

Corporate Realty –New Orleans, LA 70170
Provide primary support for all aspects of real estate property operations for commercial real estate portfolio in the New Orleans area. Primary responsibilities include:
- Interface with property tenants; provide excellent customer service
- Assist in coordination with maintenance staff, maintain work order reporting
- Assist in all aspects of property accounting including collection of rents, processing of accounts payables, budget preparation, annual expense reconciliation, maintenance of certificates of insurance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in property management including knowledge of commercial leases, contracts and real estate terms.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel and Word. Working Knowledge of Yardi property management software a plus. Ability to learn internal computer programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
- Excellent written communication skills including the ability to prepare accurate and appropriate documentation as well as the ability to proofread and edit documents for accuracy.
- Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with confidential information.
